NEW RELEASE "Kill anything non-human." It’s the motto thirteen-year-old Kaylee McCleen’s family has lived by for generations. Her parents are famous in the Night Hawk Society for Monster Hunters. Now, Kaylee has been given her chance to shine in the same organization. She has been chosen as one of one hundred teenagers across the country to train at a three-month program to become a junior hunter. But, something isn’t right. In a town of about 1,000 people, where the headquarters of the organization has always been located, people are disappearing. The town’s mayor believes monsters are responsible, but the organization president refuses to hear it. The disappearances are making her question everything she's always known about the organization, especially after the disappearances and attacks move closer to home. As she begins to learn the true dangers of being a monster hunter, she realizes that even the safest areas can not protect her and her friends from becoming a target. On top of the dangers outside the academy, the initiates are fighting for spots in the organization, and those who don’t make the cut, face a fate that no teenager should be forced to undergo. Kaylee’s lack of skills means she could be one of those cut from the program. Can Kaylee survive the Academy? And, if she does, what other dangers may be lurking outside those walls? Join Kaylee and her friends on the beginning of their journey to become the next generation of monster hunters. |
